Nice hotel with decent breakfast options. Room was bit less that I expected from garden premier (or something). Menu in restaurant where quite slim so it s better to go eat outside. Hotel is at walking distance from Fisherman Village. If you need a taxi then it is better to book outside the hotel (example hotel - airport if you book from hotel it is 500bht but if you go ask outside it is 300-400bht pick-up from the hotel. We asked from taxi station and one driver and ended up with 300bht and pick-up was next morning) [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Personnel à l accueil ne maîtrise pas l anglais,nous ont attribué une chambre dans la catégorie inférieure et nous ont réclamé un dépot de 16000 baths alors que l ensemble était payé,les choses sont rentrées dans l ordre devant notre refus et l exigence d avoir la chambre payée.La literie est d une fermeté encore jamais rencontré dans un hôtel, les transats ne permettant pas le repos non plus.Le personnel est agréable et de bonne volonté mais il est urgent de revoir les situations décrites si le Lawana veut jouer dans la cour des 4 étoiles [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

I would definitely stay at Lawana Resort again. It s in a really nice location, not far from Fisherman s village but a nice distance away, I stayed in the basic garden villa but had no problems at all except the bed was a bit too firm for my liking. The restaurant was great, food was great, pool was great, service all round was great, staff were lovely, massages with Oe were amazing! There was nothing to fault for my entire stay, I loved it.

Lawana Resort is very very good hotel. We stayed at the cheapest room for 2 nights and continued staying for 2 nights more at deluxe garden bungalow near swimming pool (room 104). All rooms we stayed were clean...All staffs were nice and helpful. If you are looking for good hotel and worth for your money, Lawana is your answer!!!!

We really enjoyed our stay in Lawana. After a few days in a hotel I would not recommend on Koh Tao (Koh Tao Regal), I can definitely recommend this place. Beautiful rooms, good breakfast and restaurant, pool was okay, staff very friendly. The only drawbacks I could think of: Mosquitos (yes, there are some...) and the loud A/C.

Lawana is an older resort but it was clean and comfortable. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Massage service at pool area is great. Be prepared to have cash because other than your accomodation everything must be paid for with cash - no cards for dining, drinking, tours etc

Nice welcome at reception with no delay. Room was very nice, private and close to the pool and beach. The best buffet breakfast of all 6 resorts we stayed in.Nice happy hour with cheap drinks and for lunch you can order a nice meal and get one free including the drinks. Staff at restaurant were always very friendly and helpful and better than most resorts we have been to.The beach was clean but the bottom was a bit slimy. Fishermans village was great and close with lots of eating places. We loved the dinners on the beach sand with candles. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Die Zimmer waren sehr schön und groß. Alles drin, was man benötigt. Täglicher Handtuchwechsel bei den Duschhandtüchern. Und die Badetücher für den Strand konnte man auch auswechseln lassen. Jeden Tag Zimmerservice und sehr sauber! Lage sehr gut. In der Nähe genug Möglichkeiten für Frühstück, Abendessen, Einkaufen etc. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett. Und der Strandabschnitt ist auch sehr schön! Das Hotel ist auf jeden Fall weiterzuempfehlen!!!!

We stayed at Lawana Resort for 5 nights. The place is really worth the money: the bungalows are in a lovely garden and you have breakfast at the pool with a view and a direct access to the beach. The staff is very nice. If ou want to go out tu just have to walk 10 minutes and ou arrive at fishermen village.

Detta hotell förutsätter att man vill uppgradera sin bungalows, dom vet att de billiga som erbjuds är helsunkiga. Man delar nästa toalett/dusch med grannarna. Mycket husdjur i.o.m den öppna toaletten.. Deras dyrare bungalows är helt ok

Wonderful hotel located in a wondeful place. Cozy and accurate bungalows with all things needed and cared by friendly hotel staff. People working at the hotel are very cheerful, helpful and smiling. Lawana Resort was the cutest hotel I have ever stayed in. I stayed for two weeks with my boyfriend and both our views of this hotel are the same. The staff were so kind and could not do enough for us. We stayed in one of the Premier Bungalows and were very very happy.

What a perfect hotel! We stayed in a Premier bungalow for 18 nights and I will be staying again. The room was lovely with very quiet and powerful air con. No mosquitoes at all. Each day the room was made up to a very high standard. The hotel staff from the manager down to the gardener were very helpful and friendly. We were even invited to a pool side birthday party with the most amazing Thai food.All for free I might add. The location is good too. If you want an early night no problem the resort is very quiet at night but if you do feel like a party Fishermans village is only a short walk away. We had a look round some of the high end hotels on Boput beach and the only real difference is 24hr room service and about £150 per night!! I can t reccomend The Lawana resort more highly. 5 star service at a 3 star price.

Liebes Team vom Lawana Resort, wir möchten uns auf diesem Wege ganz herzlich für die freundliche Aufnahme im Lawana Resort am Bo Phut Beach, bedanken. Wir, eine Familie mit zwei älteren Kindern, haben die richtige Wahl getroffen: - Eine saubere, gepflegte Anlage. - Ein schöner, ausreichend breiter Sandstrand mit der Möglichkeit auch während der Ebbe schwimmen gehen zu können, wenn man einmal nicht den Pool nutzen möchte. - Ein Restaurant mit sehr guten Speisen zu bezahlbaren Preisen. Und dies mit Meerblick und auf Wunsch mit einem Dinner im Sand bei Kerzenschein. Die Unterstützung durch das Management, egal ob bei der Auswahl und Buchung von den zahlreich angebotenen Ausflügen oder bei der Bestellung eines Fahrzeuges - immer wird einem tatkräftig und freundlich zur Seite gestanden. Die zentrale Lage des Resorts ermöglicht auch, dass man sowohl Mae Nam als auch das charmante Fisherman´s Village zu Fuß oder rasch mit dem Taxi erreichen kann. Gutes Hotel in guter Lage, nicht abgelegen aber auch nicht mitten im Trubel. Gutes Frühstück mit frischem Obst und Eierspeisen wie Omelette oder Rührei. Schöne Gartenanlage Sud einen sehr gepflegten Eindruck gemacht hat. Am Strand gibt es günstige Massagemöglichkeiten (250 Baht). Kurze Transferzeit zum Flughafen ca 10-15 Minuten. I can highly recommend Lawana Resort, my husband and I spent an amazing 10 days at Lawana Resort. The cabins are clean and beautifully decorated and painted, the grounds are well maintained and the pool was heavenly. The food was excellent, the staff were friendly and eager to please, the beach was glorious. The resort is close to Bophut and the Fisherman s Village and there is much to see and do in the area. As a group with a wide age-range (2 at 67, 2 at 34 and an 11-month-old baby), we were very happy with the resort and all it had to offer. The pool area is superb and well maintained. The units are colourful, very clean and spacious. The bed was firmer than we are used to but we slept well just the same. The mosquitoes were a nuisance. The restaurant was excellent - good breakfasts and a good selection for dinner which we enjoyed on the beach. The setting was magnificent. The staff were very good, they made us feel very welcome and we had no language difficulties. They were wonderful with the baby. We visited Chaweng beach but were pleased we had chosen Bhoput - we found the beach clean with plenty of restaurants close by. The massages available were well used and once again, the staff there were very friendly. We were delighted with everything - good value for money. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

the Garden Deluxe Bungalows are good value and nicely decorated, only problem is that the management has not been able to close the bathrooms to the ouside with Mosquito/Insect mesh. WE had 2 big spiders in our bathroom, which definitly lowered the quality of our room! Also the bathrooms are open to the neighbours, meaning you can here theim in the morning like they are sitting in your own room...CLose it up and the rooms are fine!! Wir waren 2 Nächte im Lawana zum Ende unseres Thailand Urlaubes. Schöne, farbefrohe Bungalows, sehr sauber, nettes Personal, Strand und Pool waren auch sehr schön, TIP: wenn man vom Strand auf´s Resort schaut ist gleich links Best Massage sind wirklich die besten und wir haben einige ausprobiert. The hotel is nice quiet, Bungalows are very clean and the service is very friendly. Ways to beach and Pool very short and the massage is great. We would stay again in this Resort. If you want to have party, it is easy to drive with Motorbike to party locations (up to 15 min).

Lawana Resort is a nice hotel. The poolarea is great and rooms are clean and comfortable. But the food in the restaurant must be better, the breakfast is good but lunch and dinner is not so tasty, you never know what ypu get. The reservation manger is very unpleasent and did not smaile even once. The manger in the restaurant and cleaning-staff was very friendly and helpfull. The staff in the restaurant (not the manager) must learn better english. We will probably not return to this hotel. If we return to Bophut we will stay att Peace Resort instead. We had a wonderful experience staying at the Lawana. The bungalows were extremely well cared for and quite big. The breakfast was included every day and truly an added bonus. Overall, the Lawana was the perfect selection. We thought about booking at Peace Hotel, but after seeing how large and crowded it was, we were very pleased with our decision to stay at Lawana. Bophut Beach is quiet and beautiful; the sand is not the nicest, but the calm water and beautiful view more than make up for that. Fisherman s Village is full of wonderful restaurants and is an easy walk from any of the hotels on the beach. If you have to choose any location on Koh Samui, Bophut Beach and the Lawana Resort are the best choices you can make! [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

The hotel is super cute and the staff is VERY friendly, the would go out of their way to help. I loved the room s decoration but I did t like the fact that the bangalos were so close to each other and I always had to keep the curtains closed. BEST breakfast EVER!! The beach is calm but not very pretty, good for kids and couples who just want to relax.

It was so so funny that i had not really good experience with Lawana Resort, let said i dont have chance to try their services. I was booked with this hotel for 6 nights on March, and i also ordered the pick up service from Samui airport to there too. When the first day we arrived in Samui airport and it was 3 July at 8 pm. We was waiting for over 30 mins in airport because normally it should have van, or taxi or car to come to pick us up. But finally we have to go there by taxi with 400 Bhat. (as nobody come to pick us up). When i arrived in the Lawana Resort s reception. The receptionist told us that our room have some kind of problem of the water tape. So they transfer us to other smiliar resort, it is just 5 mins by walk. On that moment, we dont have any choice because it was a bit late. She said that i need to stay in other resort until the end of my trip. We almost have to wait more 45 mins in reception there for solve this problem. Finally we went to that other smiliar resort and it was great one. I saw the view from that resort compare with the new one. I found really different. The peoples whom working in that resort are really really nice and friendly. Other thing that i need to recommend, it was they have one umbrella and one woman bag ( for beach) in the room. You can use it if you need. We felt so warm of this because as Samui is raining season right now. I highly recommend for everybody of this PEACE RESORT www.peaceresort.com I m sure that i will comeback on next year Summer. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Great hotel. Good value for money. Nice and quite good place if you want to unwind and relax. The beach is nice as well. It is about 15mins by car from Chaweng Beach. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

This place was OK. Beach not that great, no space and sand is like gravel. Rooms are worn and location not the best. Staff are wonderful but have limits with what they can work with. Not the best place for money can find much nicer for same or less.
